Vijay Varma’s latest project, IC814: The Kandahar Hijack, premiered on Netflix on August 29. To celebrate, his close friend and makeup artist, Billy Manik, hosted a watch party at her residence. Attendees included Vijay Varma and his actress-girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia, as well as directors Reema Sengupta and Pooja Shetty. Reema posted a series of photos from the event on Instagram, celebrating Vijay’s success and encouraging fans to watch and appreciate his performance in IC814.
Vijay Varma also shared highlights from the watch party on his Instagram, thanking Billy Manik for organizing the event. In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay explained why he chose to make his relationship with Tamannaah public. He stated, “We were both aligned on the fact that if we enjoy spending time together, there’s no need to hide it. It takes a lot of effort to keep a relationship private, and I don’t like such restrictions.”
Vijay also mentioned that some aspects of their relationship remain private. For example, despite having over 5,000 photos together, they chose not to share any on social media, preferring to keep them “close to their heart.”
Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia’s romance began on the set of Lust Stories 2. Vijay revealed that he asked Tamannaah out during the show’s wrap-up party, which was an intimate gathering of only four people.
