Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia are Bollywood’s latest “IT couple.” In a recent interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Vijay opened up about why he chose to make their relationship public so quickly. He explained, “We both agreed that if we enjoy spending time together and like each other, there’s no need to hide it. Hiding a relationship takes a lot of effort—you can’t go out together, your friends can’t take photos. I don’t like such restrictions. It’s not that I wanted to be in the spotlight, but I didn’t want to cage my feelings.”
When asked if his relationship with Tamannaah overshadows his work, Vijay acknowledged the public’s curiosity, saying, “In our society, everyone is interested in others’ lives. There’s a gossipy nature in people that drives this. It’s become a bit of a disease, and there’s not much we can do about it. However, I still receive appreciation for my work after it’s released, so I can’t deny that.”
Vijay also mentioned that some aspects of their relationship remain private. For instance, he shared that he has over 5,000 photos of them together but hasn’t posted any on social media, as they want to “keep them close to their hearts.”
